Success Rate and Trophy:

The success rate averages 85%

We are Trophy hunters who only harvest mature bucks 4 ½ years old or older, meaning B&C 140” or above. We want to keep our average harvesting scores above B&C 150”, knowing that it’s not unusual to come across deer in the 160-190” range.

We are located west of the town of Rimbey, Alberta, about one hour drive from the Edmonton International Airport (YEG).

This fall rifle whitetail deer hunt extends west of Highway 22 in WMU 330, about 30mn driving distance from our hunting lodge. Depending on the conditions, this hunt might involve a combination of site camping and returning to the hunting lodge.

Our cosy hunting lodge, is setup for hunters to share a comfortable bedroom with two clients per room, a shared bathroom, laundry facilities and a living room with a TV screen and a wood stove. Wi-Fi is also available for your convenience.

Hunting territory:

The hunting territory in WMU 330 is part of the Rocky Mountain foothills region made of rolling hills with deciduous and mixedwood forests, spanning over 200,000 acres (400 square miles).

In September, you can expect warm temperatures during the day (70 to 80 Fahrenheit or 25o C) dropping quickly around 50 F (10o C) by sunset. Could be near freezing when walking to the stand early morning.
